Familiar faces, and new ones.

Beyond the result, it was great to see so many familiar faces back in the yards, alongside plenty of new ones. Some have been buying Karoo bulls for decades, while others were joining us for the first time.

Thank you to everyone who bought, bid, inspected cattle, made enquiries or came along on the day. And to guest auctioneer Paul Dooley, Ben Emms and the Elders Emms Mooney team, and everyone who helped behind the scenes, thank you.

Looking ahead.

Our breeding focus remains where it's always been. Fertile, functional, high-growth cattle that perform in commercial conditions and stay in the herd.

Sale season might be done, but the work behind the next Karoo draft is already underway. We look forward to keeping you updated over the coming year, and welcoming you back to Meadow Flat for our 29th Annual Sale in 2027.
